Fountains are spread throughout Kansas City, from oversized statement pieces functioning as focal points of major boulevards to tiny, almost-secret fountains tucked away alongside sidewalks. Our fountains come in nearly limitless varieties: Muses, Goddesses, men on horseback, children watering flowers, and animals spurting water from their mouths.

Home to over 200 officially registered fountains (48 of which are publicly-owned by Kansas City Missouri), KC really is the City of Fountains.

Every year, on the second Tuesday in April, Kansas City's fountains spring back to life on "Fountain Day", following a six month hibernation.
